In Ukraine promulgated the “black list” of Russian cultural figures

Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture on Saturday unveiled the so-called blacklist of artists from Russia, which, according to the Ukrainian authorities, “endanger national security” of the country.

Earlier, Minister of Culture of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said the presence of a list of 117 artists, who supposedly “represent a threat to Ukraine’s national security.” This list is sent to the Office of the National Security and Defense in January, as well as to the SBU.

According to authorities, the eve of the list was handed over to the Ministry of Culture by the Security Service of Ukraine, it names 14 people. The list includes: Oleg Gazmanov, Iosif Kobzon, Joseph Prigogine, Ivan Okhlobystin, Nikolai Rastorguev, Michael Porechenkov, Mikhail Boyarsky, Grigory Leps, Sergei Bezrukov, Gerard Depardieu. The list also includes the people Vladimir Kucherenko, Yegor Kholmogorov Mikhail Khazin, and Valery Perfilova.
“To the extent that the Ministry of Culture of the Security Service of Ukraine appeals to expand the list of persons, endangering national security, information on the website will be updated,” - said the agency. The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture also noted that, according to the law, the State Film Committee may refuse or terminate the issued state certificate for distribution and demonstration of films, if one of the participants of the film is a person included in the “black list”.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided to ban entry of 14 cultural workers from Russia, supported the entry of the Crimea in the Russian Federation, and also expressed support for the Donetsk and Lugansk militia. In addition, the expert commission of the State Agency of Ukraine for the movie banned demonstration in the country dozens of movies and TV shows with the participation of Russian actors, in particular, visited the Donbass.
