“CyberBerkut”: Kiev is planning to disrupt the elections in Donbass

The hacker group “CyberBerkut” published addressed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk letter from the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Alexander Turchinov, which refers to the failure of the planned local elections in Donbass.

In a letter to Turchynov announces the approval by the Board on July 20 “urgent measures to neutralize threats to national security.”

The main aim is to prevent the holding of elections scheduled for October local authorities in the territory of the breakaway Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republic by the destabilization of the situation in these regions, as well as the detention and removal of “accomplices of Russian special services.”

“While President Poroshenko in Berlin convinces Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande in his commitment to the Minsk Agreement, in Kiev, make every effort to disrupt scheduled for October of this year, local elections in the breakaway republics,” - said in a statement on the website “CyberBerkut.”

Turchinov also requested the Prime Minister to inform him about the implementation of activities.

Earlier it was reported that the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the elections in the DNI and LC will have devastating consequences for the Minsk process.
