World Bank has committed $ 500 million in Ukraine

Ukraine has signed an agreement with the World Bank a loan of $ 500 million. This December 22 RIA Novosti reported.

According to the Interfax news agency, term of repayment is 30 years. Funds will be available to the Ukrainian authorities to the end of 2008. This is the third loan allocated to the development of Ukraine by the World Bank.

RIA Novosti reports that the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Bohdan Danylyshyn announced its intention to send from the World Bank money for the structural reform of the economy and to replenish the state budget.
