Ternopil newspaper, describing a fight with the Arab negro for Ukrainian girl at a local bar, called the two monkeys. The scandal, which became one of the top news stories in the world and Ukrainian mass media jeopardize the Euro 2012 and the European integration of Ukraine into the EU.

Following the publication on CNN picked up the baton of leading French news channel France24 website which appeared reprint.

“Hvilya” publishes the translation of one of the comments of an alien who has lived in Ukraine and accurately reflects the perception of the processes in the country:

“Suffice it to say that I am a foreigner living in Ukraine, and I can assure you that racism is widespread in this country. My skin is white, that protects me from beating … but once people learn that I am a foreigner, I am quite often have the unmistakable feeling that they would gladly threw me out of the country.

You can learn the language, but it helps very little - in my experience at least 30-40% of the population openly hostile to any external person in relation to their small “clan” (which means their family and their circle of friends). And if you happen to be from a different culture … Well, so much the worse for you.

Of course, this is not all Ukrainians - many of them are lovely, very friendly and open people who are not a part of this racist wave - but, unfortunately, there are many other Ukrainians to leave a bad taste in my mouth for all who hold enough a lot of time here.

I only disagree in one material article on racism. It reads: “A few months later Ukraine will host the football championship” Euro 2012 “, which should attract thousands of foreigners. You should not act as though you are still living in the Soviet Union.”

One of the saddest moments in this, that in Soviet times there was a genuine openness to people of all colors and races. At that time, almost half of the republics of the Soviet Union was settled relatively dark-skinned peoples (Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, …), and as far as I know, they really were perceived as part of a single, unified family of nations. But this is largely lost now, and it’s just a tragedy, because it throws people in Ukraine and western Russia far back in the cultural development.

My advice: go in Kazakhstan. It is more interesting (and in terms of catch more “post-Soviet culture,” and because it is multi-ethnic community), the education system better, racism, who defeated Ukraine, missing, and a much greater sense of openness. Plus the best wages, higher living standards, better medical care … at least in major cities. Forget about Ukraine: sad to say, but it is a country on the road to ruin and oblivion. ”

News about the racist article in Ternopil newspaper, Africans and Arabs, compared with monkeys, a couple of days ago, appeared on CNN, is actively replicated the largest European media.
