Yanukovych cleans Ukraine from Yushchenko. Lustration started with banknotes

Administration of the new President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych started to sweep-out effects of government of the former head of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko. Confirmation of the seriousness of such intentions may be the fact that the mention of the ex-president soon disappear even with the notes.

As the “New Region” sources close to the administration of Yanukovych, one of the first steps to sweep the country from Yushchenko became an unwritten regulation to the National Bank to urgently remove the remains in circulation 50 hryvnia banknotes bearing the signature of Viktor Yushchenko (see the photo ), head in 1996 with the release of these notes NBU.
