Following the Russian transition to winter time abolished Ukraine and Belarus

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decree “On the change in the procedure for calculating the time in Ukraine.”

According to UNIAN, voted for the decision 266 of 354 deputies registered in the session hall.

The decree stipulated set on 27 March 2011 on the territory of Ukraine during the second time zone with the addition of one hour. This resolution recognized as invalid the decision by BP and the decision of the Ukrainian SSR on the transition to daylight saving time. Thus the decision canceled the annual clock to daylight saving time.

For this decision voted factions and groups that are part of a parliamentary majority.

As UNIAN reported earlier, 8 September, the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education recommended that Parliament adopt the draft decision on changing the procedure for calculating the time in Ukraine - that is, refuse to transfer hours to daylight saving time.
