Kosovo phantom haunting Ukraine. Subcarpathian Rusyns again talking about independence

National minorities in Ukraine can be a unitary use the precedent of Kosovo to self-determination. These include the addition of the Crimean Tatars, Hungarians and Romanians - Podkarpackie Rusyns living in Transcarpathia. In Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Serbia, they found a distinct people. However, the official Kiev, despite repeated appeals, does not recognize the Rusyns as a national minority with its own language and culture. Rusyn leaders accused the Ukrainian authorities in the genocide, call for autonomy and threatened to declare independence.
