Kyiv Mayor requests the Government of Ukraine to close the entrance to the city due to swine influenza

Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky intends to appeal to the Government of Ukraine to close the entrance to the Ukrainian capital for the residents of both regions, where the quarantine, and for the Ukrainians in the east of the country.

"We need to prepare an appeal to the Cabinet in order of quarantine zones as limited entry into the territory of Kiev, and probably from other eastern regions of Ukraine, the people," leads the statement made at a meeting of the Chernivtsi City Hall staff for emergency situations with the flu, Ukrainian portal news.

He noted that the Cabinet has already taken steps in this direction.

According to the mayor, every day in the capital by rail only comes about 2 million people.
