Kasparov in Kiev promised that Putin will soon overthrown

Opposition activist Garry Kasparov of Russia today held a lecture in Kiev where he promised that Vladimir Putin will soon removed from power.

“Apogee Putin’s power was in 2007. Then he had a chance to break the Constitution, be the third time the president, but he went the other way. I gave her a weak choice of successor. Failure Medvedev today to change the situation poses a threat to Putin’s return. It causes anxiety in many layers society that gives hope for effective change “- said Kasparov.

According to him, Putin is now putting money in a hopeless projects like the North Stream and South Stream.

“They are too expensive, gas would no longer” - shared his thoughts Kasparov.

“He does not need to be elite, it will overthrow him, as often happens with authoritarian leaders” - have declared opposition.

According to Kasparov, the repetition of Russia’s authoritarianism is no danger.

“I have a strong feeling that such a social demand for the authoritarianism in Ukraine. Of course, there is a request to impose order. But in a pure form of the request for a strong hand in Ukraine was never formed. So I do not dare to predict the sharp turns in the Ukrainian society. I think that there is no threat to the transition to authoritarianism, “- he said.

Kasparov explained that much of Putin managed to “tighten the screws”, because it has cash resources through the sale of oil and gas exports. In Ukraine, there is such a resource, but because “even the freedom of speech, obviously, can not be eliminated.”
