Tymoshenko has set a goal to complete the sacred task of uniting Europe

"The fall of the Berlin Wall was an incentive for Ukraine gained independence." It is said in the statement of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, released today, November 9, BelTA news agency REGNUM in Kiev.

"This event accelerated the democratic processes in Europe and contributed to the fact that less than two years after Ukraine declared independence. Together with the peoples of Europe and the world, we celebrate this outstanding event. But today is not enough simply to note and remember those dramatic times. We must focus our attention on the unfinished aspects of our liberation, "- said in a statement Tymoshenko. The Prime Minister also said: "Lessons from the past require a united Europe, a true European unity is being formed. We need to complete the sacred task of uniting Europe, because only through this unity we can get rid of totalitarianism."

She emphasized that Ukrainians aspire to become a full part of a united Europe. "In an effort to become a full part of a united Europe, Ukrainians consistently reforming the state, introducing European values and standards. We have confidence that the European continent will never be divided or one wall - stone, iron or paper", - said Tymoshenko.
