Ambassador of Germany: On the way to NATO, Ukraine will stumble on the elections

Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Hans-Juergen Gaymzet believes that early elections in Ukraine put off by integration into NATO and the European Union. He expressed his opinion at a meeting with Chairman of the Committee on European Integration Borys Tarasyuk, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to information provided during the meeting discussed the internal political situation in Ukraine and the possible scenarios. Tarasyuk, expressing his opinion regarding the activities of citizens and the potential appearance of possible early elections in Parliament, said that “according to sociological surveys, 72% of the population of Ukraine, the negative attitude towards holding new early elections at the same time , if held, they are ready to attend 65% of citizens.

In addition, the diplomats discussed prospects for economic development of the Crimean peninsula, the international financial crisis and the state of negotiations to establish free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU.
