Ukraine threatens to ban Black Sea Fleet ships return to Sevastopol

Krajina warns Russia aside from the possible participation of ships of the Black Sea Fleet Russia in the conflict over South Ossetia.

“In order to prevent the circumstances in which Ukraine could be drawn into armed conflict and military operations because of the participation in military formations of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia, who is temporarily based in the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side reserves the right under international law and Ukrainian legislation to prohibit the return of the territory of Ukraine to resolve the conflict of ships and vessels that may participate in the activities described above, “- said in a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, posted on the agency website on Sunday.
