Biosphere Reserve “Askania Nova” (+ 55 photos)

Not every resident of the Commonwealth of Independent States knows that the unique and world-famous biosphere reserve under the name “Nova Kakhovka” Freidrich Falz-Fein is located in the Kherson region, near the entrance to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and not on the peninsula. Since the summer of 2007 I managed to visit this wonderful area, surrounded by vast wilderness, I can not restrain himself from the story of such a beautiful natural sites …
